Pro 97 Assistance

Hey guys,
I have a new Pro 97 and I cannot get it to trunk. I have uploaded frequencies and talk groups using ARC 300 software. I have tried everything to get this to work and asked a techy friend to look at it also and he tried without any luck. Any help would be greatly appriciated.All fire department and marine frequencies work but I am at a loss.

Couple things to try. Go into your ARC 300

1 - Click on the bank name, Then click on settings.
a - click/check bank enable.
b - bank type should say Motorola
c - click/check "close mode".
d - see if the TGID sub-banks are clicked/checked on.

2 - Under frequency, colunm 3(mode) make sure it in "MOT" mode.beside the frequency.

Thanks for the reply. I had that set properly and still no result. It almost seems like it is a settling that will not allow it to trunk. I am getting frustrated as I know the capability of the scanner and cannot get it to work. Even if I could clone it with another scanner it would make life easier because I am missing something.

Just looked up the Pro-97 on Wiki. Under software it lists Win97, Might be worth trying

Well I have it trunking now however it appaers like the channel is not right on as the channel activates but I cannot make out any transmission. I have EHS and Sherrifs department and what I think is DOT Vehicle Compliance. I should be getting more traffic than that.

Will the Pro 97 pick up RCMP? Sorry for all the questions but you guys certainly no more about this than I.

RCMP/HRP/DND use digital radios,
Pro-97 only picks up analog radios.
