Ok. I am a donating member now, so can someone tell me if and how I can download
some local frequencies. Some time earlier members would post these file in the forum
and it made it real easy to install what you wanted and delete the rest. I also know
you can look these frequencies up on this site, but is too much trouble and error filled.
Thanks Hawkeye

You can import freqs directly into Win97...
File > Web Import > RadioReference.com >
Choose either trunked or conventional.

See in the upper right hand corner of people's post how it has a deal called "Location" and then people put like Tulsa, OK or OKC, OK or BFE, OK? You should go fill in your location. That way, when you mention "local frequencies" like you did above, we know which files to send you. Thanks. See you around the forums.

Too much trouble? Um ok. You want us to program it into your scanner for you too? You only have to do it once. Sheesh...

You can probably get a p97 file for you area from the files section of this yahoo group too, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pro-97/
wow, you seem to be a real helpful kinda guy,NeFire242  Sheesh...

hawkeye, If you don't feel like programming freqs but hand, you need to get Win97, if you don't allready have it, that way you can download directly from the RRdatabase!

Thanks Phil, I guess what I need to know is where is the RRdatabases located, I know this
may seem minor to others , but I can't find any files. I know about other sites for frequencies as I have been interested in radio for the last 30 years. Thanks for any help.

Click on the word "database" above, then click on the state, and county you wish to find freqs for.

Ok, it is kinda getting to me, I just went to my win 97 program and found the import from RR button. but I was thinking that this web site had a file section to download other scanner fans files, but guess not. I all ready have the files programed into my scanner now, the files I am interested are the ones that every one has of like, oilfield, trucking, ranchers etc. these are sometimes interesting also. Any
way thanks to everyone for the help.
