Pro 97 help

i have a pro 97 with instruction book. i also looked around and did not find the info. is it possible to change search "steps"? trying to search 25-54 Mhz. in 25 Khz. B.ook has in specs. section freq. coverage 5 Khz. Anyone have experience with this??

i believe you can only change the steps with either a firmware update, or it sometimes cannot be change for it is hard coded.

Yeah, I think it is fixed at 5kHz for that band. I don't know if you have WIN97, but if you do go to the last search group. It is user programmable. There is a table there of the allowable frequency ranges and step parameters.
