i am totally lost trying to program my pro 97 can anyone help with eaither a freq list that will work for northern co (fort collins) or some tips and pointers??

Most of everything in N. Colorado is on the states Digital system. Which means you will need to upgrade to a digital scanner, which there are a few to pick from now.

Besides what dirtfinder noted - are you trying to do this manually? Or using software?

If you're using Win97 I can send you a file with a boatload of UHF Milair freqs.

Larimer county, Ft. Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Weld County, Windsor are all on the State digital system which the '97 will not do.

You may want to pick up either a Pro 96, or Pro 106. Both are digital and both are great radios. I'm thinking the Pro 96 might work for you up north because there is little to no 700mhz traffic up there, and the 96 won't do 700mhz. If you want to keep with the times, and spend a little more, you may want to pick up the Pro 106.
