pro 97 newbie

Just got pro 97 and I have no idear how to program this thing. I dont understand this Palmetto 800 or how to get it programmed into the scanner. want to listen to Berk. Co Hanahan PD, Chas. Co. PLEASE HELP The salesman at the Shack had no clue

Read the scanner manual (it came in the box with the radio), read the information on the RR Wiki (link is at the top of this page) and look at the Palmetto 800 page in the RR database. Then ask if you still have specific questions.

Also, consider getting software (www.starrsoft.com) and a programming cable - it makes programming scanners much, much easier.
