I am the new owner of a Pro-97. I have the USB cable, and am getting used to WIN97. I have searched using as many keywords as I can think of without finding an answer to my question; to wit:

Is it possible to limit the frequencies scanned in the pre-programmed ranges? Specifically, I would like to bypass scanning of 108.0000 to 118.0000 on SR4, the aviation range. This is too many frequencies to list in the lockout function, and I can't come up with anything else that looks like it will work.

Thanks in advance!

Use SR6 for 118-137

Tom,

No, you can't limit SR4 to exclude the navaids. Your best bet would be to use the user programmable SR6 for 118-137.

Enjoy the new PRO-97.

Thanks Dan - I was afraid that was the case. I don't really need to scan all those VOR freqs for the rare voice transmission, so I guess I'll follow your suggestion.
