Pro-97 question

OK who's ready for a headache? I own a pro-97. I would like to make it into basically a Mobil base station if you will. I live in Denver Colorado and work in Windsor Colorado, about a 80 mile difference. I would like an antenna that I can put up on my roof on the weekends then take down and take with me to the Condo I stay in up there for the week and put it back up. Mostly I listen to Trunked systems, So I would need an antenna that has good 800Mhz reception, as well as non trunked low VHF reception.

My first question is this possible with a pro-97? Or am I crazy...Witch sadly is a possibility. The other question what is a good antenna for me.
