Pro 97 Rebanding

Is there a link on the boards here or anyone know if this scanner is going to survive the rebanding?

The last response I saw that anyone posted from Radio Shack was this one which indicates that the Pro-97 will not survive re-banding in regards to Motorola systems. It would still function for conventiontional, EDACS, and LTR systems.

I had seen the post mentioned by hiegtx. It makes me think of another question about the Pro-97 (and other affected scanners for that matter). Will 900 Mhz Motorola systems be affected? I wouldn't think so but felt the question needed to be put out to everyone.

The question has been asked and answered several times.

Rebanding has no effect on 900 MHz.
