Pro-97 SAME standby + 1050Hz tone?

Quick question. When the Pro-97 is in SAME standby mode, will it also alert if just the 1050Hz tone is transmitted? I know it's probably not likely the tone would ever be sent out without an accompanying SAME data burst... so this is more for curiosity sake.

I doubt it, because it uses the data to produce the text message that appears on the screen, like "Thunderstorm Warning", "Tornado Watch", etc.

Would be interesting to see if someone can try and set it off by producing the tone.
