Pro 97 scanning problem

I recently purchased this unit and when I press the scan button to scan a bank I get an "All channels locked out!"message. Can anyone tell me how to correct this? Thanks.

I think you have all the channels locked out. I forget how it goes but function lock out or something like that will cure it.

All channels locked out generally means nothing is programmed into it.
Press Man 000 Man and see what is in channel 000.

Well There's nothing showing in the top right corner. I thought I had uploaded some trunking info. using Win 97 but apparently I don't know what I'M doing. Is there a tutorial available anywhere that explains how to use Win 97?

Did you load the 155 preprogrammed frequencies into the scanner? Follow the directions on how to do so.

There really isn't. Win96 is very similar so check this out, http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Win96
Make sure you have the right COM Port set in the software as well
