Hello,
I just picked up a Pro-97 and started programming it. So far it seems to work well but I am really struggling with programming it for Trunking. In my Local area I have found the Frequencies and the Sys type (Motorola Type II) and a List of Group IDs. I successfully programmed in the Frequencies (I think) and I can hear traffic, but I don't see any other information. The list I have consists of 11 Freqs and a LOT of Group IDs. I plugged some of the Group Ids into my 97 but they never show. I don't know if I've done this wrong or not. I'm also confused about the Sub Banks and also the Control channel. The Manual, for me, as absolutly useless! Is there a document I can grab that shows me what info I need for a Type II system and what I DON'T need?? Also an Example of how to enter it Would be nice. I'm in the process of putting together a Cheat sheet of the most common functions, something that can be laminated and carried with the Scanner if anyone is interested. Maybe I'm having a "Senior Moment" here but this is not easy
Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance
