I use my Pro 97 for military air most of the time when mobile. It will also work very well with your racom system in DBQ

How would the PSR-300 rank up there in terms of reception in the 225-400 band? If I was to purchase another scanner, I think I would want the PSR-300 over the Pro-97.

I would imagine that both the PSR-300 and the Pro-164 should do equally as well, they are basically updated versions of the Pro-97.

I thought my Pro-97 picked up milair about as well as my Pro-43 and BC780XLT. Then again, my Pro-96 wasn't bad at milair, either.

Your mileage will vary.
