Anyone know where I can purchase a caable toprogram my Pro 97?. I believe the Radio Shack part number is 2000047 or the current part number is 2000546.

I saw those at Scannermaster but it said it uses Window's XP, Vista,Me, 2000 everything but Window's 7 which is what I have in my computer.

......and the cable at Scannermaster worked with your Window's 7 to program your scanner? What kind of scanner?

Just to let you know that seeing how I couldn't find the older cable I went ahead and bought the new cable from Radio Shack for $35 (ouch) It came with the driver software and 2 free trial download's apparently from Radio Reference. It also operates with Window's 7 which is my operating system. I have a question though, before I download any frequencies into my scanner should I make sure that all the old frequencies are deleted from the scanner?
