Hello

Try looking up your area in the RR freq area. I have a old 92 that cannot do rebanding but with local conventional stuff, railroads, marine (living 1 mile from the ocean gives us lots to hear), state and federal and amateur radio I have almost 160 channels filled up.

Keepak, All,

You might try looking up the low-powered frequencies (154.6 is one of them).

More than likely they are listed as MURS or FRS frequencies. Power is less
than 5 watts. They maybe on UHF as well.

Now, those buildings are made from steel beams dnd sheet metal, NOT very
radio friendly. You may or may not be able to hear their handi-talkies out
side the building. Take the scanner inside and listen. This Winter, it will be
too cold to sit in a vehicle for long without burning up some serious gas in
keeping the heater going, LOL!

GOD BLESS,
Warmest Regard,

"Buck"
