SDS100/SDS200: Pro Voice Upgrade

I have an SDS 100 that I applied the DMR and NXDN upgrades so, I have decided to get the ProVoice upgrade for the radio for when I travel. My problem is the radio was replaced by Uniden after the cold solder joint issue, and there is now a new serial number in the radio. Do I re-register this radio and then order the upgade?

You would need to register for the upgrade with the new/replaced scanner's info. If you had the old radio replaced and try to purchase using the old registered scanners info you'll have a bit of trouble applying the key to the new radio..

Are you sure the serial changed before UPMan passed when a board was changed the serial number was cloned to the replacement so your upgrades could be reused.

Yeah the numbers are different. They did clone my DMR and NXDN into the new radio but assigned a new serial number...with a dash then a suffix of 155.

I have sent a 436 and an SDS100 at different times to Uniden which both had the ProVoice, NXDN, DMR upgrade, and Uniden ended up replacing both with brand new units with all the upgrades installed. (Thanks Uniden).
