Check to see if you get static on the conventional channels? If you get static It could be a bad squelch knob spraying deoxit fader cleaner, may resolve it. With full signal peg, you could have overloaded the frontend? Also system could have changed, check programming?
Two days ago, my PRO106 stopped receiving signals apparently. It powers up, it scans, and my programmed data is still there. Only thing I can think of is my antenna finally went bad. Is there something else I should consider?
I'm having a similar problem w/my Pro-197. It works for a while, then for some reason, all audio stops. Display shows its normal scan routine, but it does not stop on any transmissions. When I turn it off and back on again, audio resumes. Scanning ALWAYS runs and squelch is its usual position. Maybe an internal heating problem?
