Not sure where New Market is I am in Northwest Tn and my 197 pro-106 2096 96 and new pro-18 all track Nashville, Memphis, Franklin, Dyersburg, Scott Co Mo, all with no problems all programmed with win500 win96 and the new pro18 software. I am a prem member and just downloaded from RR to scanners plug and play. Has you scanner been updated has the system been rebanded I am tracking the 700 system in Southeast Mo so I know it works.

I have updated the firmware off the radioshack website. I dont think 700mhz was rebanded. Maybe ARC500 is part of the problem, but danny programmed the system in by hand so i doubt it is that.

Looks like pro96com can find all of those things except for Lo Ch and Hi Ch. I dont see it anywhere.

Fmon did you get that from the website here or did you just use pro96com to get that?

From my scanner. Pro96Com doesn't provide Channel Identifiers but they can be derived as follows:

Each Identifier are 4096 channels apart.

Example:
Identifier
01 is
Ch Lo = 0
Ch Hi=4095
02 is
Ch lo 4096
Ch Hi 8191
03 is
Ch Lo 8192
Ch Hi 12287
etc

Note: Ch Hi identifier is 1 number less then next Ch Lo Identifier.
This process continues through Channel 16 which terminates at Ch Lo=61440 and Ch Hi of 65535.

Offset is always equal to Ch Lo of its Identifier.

Excellent

-Tables
#Format: Table ID,Base Freq,Spacing,Input Offset,Assumed/Confirmed,BandWidth,Slots
00,851.00625,0.00625,-45.00000,"Confirmed",0.00625,1
01,762.00625,0.00625,30.00000,"Confirmed",0.00625,1
02,136.00000,0.00250,0.90000,"Confirmed",0.01250,1
03,146.00000,0.00250,0.90000,"Confirmed",0.01250,1
04,156.00000,0.00250,-0.90000,"Confirmed",0.01250,1
05,166.00000,0.00625,-0.90000,"Confirmed",0.01250,1
06,136.00000,0.00625,0.90000,"Confirmed",0.01250,1
07,161.59375,0.00625,-0.90000,"Confirmed",0.01250,1

This is what i get from your towers.txt file for that system for a custom t-table is this right?:
Lo Chan Hi Chan Offset Base Step
0 4095 0 762.00625 6.25
4096 8191 4096 136.00000 2.50
8192 12287 8192 146.00000 2.50
and so on. what is the 00 info above 01?

Ok i found the information you was referring to in the help file in pro96com.
I believe i got this now. I think you got your numbers mixed up there. Is this correct?
00 is ch lo= 0 ch hi=4095
01 is ch lo= 4096 ch hi=8191
00 is ch lo= 8192 ch hi=12287
It goes from 00 to 15 right?

You are correct. I woke up at 6 this am and it occurred to me that Pro96Com starts with Identifier 00 not 01.

The idea is to multiply the identifier with 4096 to get Ch Lo and offset. Thus:
0*4096=0
1*4096=4096 etc.
Ch Hi is 4095 above Ch Lo.

Fmon I understand. I sat here last night until my eyes crossed and my head was hearting. Hehe what a deal.

RomeRon, I take it you used arc500 to download the info from the database here. Is all of that what comes up when you download the info from here? Without you changing anything. If so I already see some problems with the way I programmed it in arc500:
1) I have all 4 frequencies programmed in but i see yours is missing the 5's on the end. In other words the control channel is supposed to be 769.80625, while you have 769.8062 and the same with the alternating control channel. Why does yours not have the 5?
2) I have Digital AGC, SuperTrack, and Multisite set to Off.
3) I have the words default in T-Tables column. When i double click Edit TTables there is nothing there, but when I click Load Reband Table button, That exact same TTable loads into the box and then It wants to know if I would like to Set T-Tables to custom when I exit.
4) I have Check All CC set to no as you have yes.

Have you actually used this exact setup on the Pigeon Forge Safety System or did you just load it to show me what the settings were when dowloaded from RR?

Yes used ARC500, The T-Table was blank I double clicked in the white box and chose Default. The T-Table I edited for show.

Didn't change anything there, ARC500 took the 5's off.

I edited T-Tables to show the rebanding tables.

Just a suggestion

Just to show.

Just realized, looks like the arc500 uploader took the 5's off. Wonder why.

Well i thought about using the t-table you showed there but i dont believe those would work with the 700mhz frequencies. Guess Ill try pro96com one day and try what i get off of that.

700 MHz frequencies are not in FCC reband requirements.
If user gets the correct active CC and near enough to the tower, P25 Auto set as type will set the correct tables as in my earlier post.
Code:
Lo Ch Hi Ch Offset Base Step
0 4095 0 851.006250 6.250
4096 8191 4096 762.006250 6.250
Also, cell under T-Tables will remain Blank until data is sent to scanner then after scanner acquires the active CC and user then sends back to ARC500. The cell will then indicate Default. A double click on Edit T-Tables should then indicate the two tables I've indicated above.
