When listening, I notice the siganl strength to be about 4 or 5 bars with a solid S but a flickering T. The more the T flickers, the more static I hear even if it's a full 5 bars. Why ?
When looking at the display, I notice it often "sticks" or flashes back and forth between TSYS and TGRP many times for several seconds with no audio coming through. VERY ANNOYING, and it's ticking me off. All delays are set at 2 sec and it sticks way longer than that ! I've tried many changes in the PRGM-FUNC-GLOB settings and nothing seems to help. My 246 side by side does not do this. Therefore it has to be some kind of setting that can be adjusted to put an end to this. I'm listening to an analog 800mHz TSYS and a VHF trunked TSYS with digital and analog. I've been flipping through this http://rsk.imageg.net/graphics/uc/rsk/Support/ProductManuals/2000106_GM_EN.pdf continuously and find some of the Description/Notes unhelpful, especially M36 ET Patt = 2B2B. This is the only one I don't know how to play around with.
Any suggestions ???
