i was woundering witch scanner was better the 162 or the 164 right now i have a bearcat sportcat 150 i know it is old , i was wanting to update my handheld and did not know what one was the better deal for the money .

i live in zanesville ohio and they are going to be going to the marcs system soon and i did not know if any of those scanners would pick up the marcs sys

The Ohio MARCS system is digital so you would need a digital scanner to receive them. Here is the link to the Wiki article on digital scanners.

Digital scanners are normally around $500 unless you buy a used one.

Firefighter89 is correct, you need a digital. Your county Sheriff is already on the MARCS system.
