can someone tell me what programming chord I need for a pro 163 scanner i bought it and a whistler 1040 either have manuals or any info with them the whistler does have a chord with it

The cord that came with the 1040 will work. No need to buy another.

The 163 is an analog only scanner. A lot of trunks having to do with Law Enforcement in Ohio are digital, and that scanner won't copy them....Mike

Please note he has a WS=1040. So, he's covered for digital systems.

Yes Mike, the 163, but the OP was asking about the 163's radio cord which the OP already has with the WS1040.
