I found the info on the new W.Va. UHF trunked system here on RR. I put the freqs in my Pro2096. I set up the channels as MOT. I can hear Huntington and Charleston's sites just fine. I'm getting about 76% signal on Charleston and 85% on Huntington. However, all I'm hearing is the roar of the control channels. Never stops. What do I have set wrong? Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated !!!! Steve/Ohio

OK. I THINK that I have it now. I'm in SE Ohio and all I think I'll be able to hear are the Kanawah Co and Huntington sites. I found a "bunch more" things you have st set up with the W.Va system. With the Ohio MARCS stuff you don't have to fool with that Multi-Table stuff !!!! I'll see what happens. You think that was my problem? I hadn't set ANY of that....Steve:lol:

yes it does appear that you would need to program in that Custom GRE/Radio Shack Frequency Table

Table 1:

With WIN96 software for the PRO 96/2096 scanner:

1. Prompt "MULTI TABLES"
2. Prompt "EXTENDED TRUNKING TABLES"
3. Do not prompt any "STANDARD PLANS"
4. "CH LOW" 8192 "CH HI" 12287 "BASE FREQ" 453.0250 "OFFSET" 8192 "STEP" 12.5
5. "CH LOW 12288 "CH HI" 16383 "BASE FREQ" 450.0000 "OFFSET" 12288 "STEP" 6.25
6. clear all other trunking tables, and prompt "OK"
7. Don't forget to save your file!

If you have win 96 program and the cable it is a snap..
