Does anyone know if the backlight will stay on this radio for more then 3 seconds? If so how do I change this setting? Thanks to all who reply.

Hi jblake76

To keep the backlight on an extended period of time, push the PGM button, then the backlight button.
When you want it back to normal operation, just push the backlight button again.
