Now that is a trip back in time!
I recently purchased a pro-48 8 channel crystal scanner. It was the model I started scanning with. I hope to get it soon so I can restore it. The guy who sold it had 3 of them. Mine is in excellent shape. There is a movement from what I am told by friends across the country, to restore these crystal scanners as a way to honor the past or history of scanning. The darn thing only cost me $25.00 As I said, It is in mint shape for a 25 yeard old scanner.
