pro668 error code on power-up

Have a Pro668 that displays this error code on startup : 00037b40 , 3-04, and 0003. Cannot turn power off, have to remove batteries. Tried to reformat sd card and tried new sd card, but computer does not recognize scanner. Tried to reconfig but again scanner not recognized. Any idea where I can find error code description, or how to proceed ? USB cable works in programming other scanners. Working with Windows8. Thanks for any advice !

Reinsert the MicroSD card to ensure it is fully inserted in locked in the MicroSD slot. If necessary, reformat the MicroSD card using the PC Application “Prepare SD Card for use” option. Replace the MicroSD card if the problem persists.

You may need to disable Driver Signing in order for Windows 8 to install the drivers INF correctly. Did you make a backup of the original content of the Micro SD card?

Sorry to be so late with reply. Thanks for your help. Worked off and on this weekend and solved the problem. SD card was corrupt and could not be re-formatted, and the USB jack must be defective. Computer could not access SD in scanner. Formatted new SD card and downloaded updated data base using card reader. Installed sd card in scanner and away we go ! Works great !
