No tables required for EDACS systems, just replace the LCN frequencies.Does anyone know if the pro95 and 97 need to be rebanded to recieve the new set-up for Brevard county???eplace
Thanks
Do you need to keep the old LCN frequencies in there also?
Thank you
PRo-95, PRO-97 (& PRO-93) scanners will work fine on EDACS systems. The PRO-97 will do fine on LTR systems. All of these scanners will do fine on MOT systems if all of the voice frequencies conform to 8xx.xxx5 MHz. If you've got a frequency of 8xx.xxxx0 MHz in a MOT system, voice transmission assigned to those frequencies will not be tracked.
BUT, a "splinter" system is NOT a "rebanded" system. Here is my chart that shows all the channels and how they line up.Small addition: the "8xx.xxxx0" criteria only applies to "non-splinter" systems. Splinter systems do use such frequencies, and are handled just fine by the mentioned scanners.
I know. I was merely trying to clarify an exception to this:BUT, a "splinter" system is NOT a "rebanded" system.
