Pro96 and Pro 97 in One

I which GRE would have had one more upgrade to the Pro 96 and 97 that put both those together and added private call with 20 banks and bigger talkgroup areas. I like my PSR500 but still like the 96 but withouth the banks LTR private call(and no 700mhx trunk) I am stuck going to a 396 or using my 500.
The pro 96 has some good advantages that like using over my 500. Guess this wrong happen.

I "think" the poster would like to have PSR to produce ONE scanner that has ALL of the features of the Pro-97 AND the Pro-96. Skud, please advise if this is really what you want.

From what I know about the PSR500 is that it is a combo of the 96/97. It does do LTR, milair, 700mhz and 380mhz miitary trunking. Private call is fun sometimes to monitor(had a sytem near where I live that the SO deputies thought they couldn't be heard.) Holy Cow Batman! The stuff they would talk about. Wonder if they knew that it was monitored at the console?? What else do you need for a scanner that the 500 doesn't do?? I wish it did banks too, but that is a thing of the past

Is it true that the PSR500 does a much better job of decoding the multi-site simulcast P25 PSK digital mess than does the Pro96? I'm having a horrible time decoding a 12-site P25 simulcast system here, and some have suggested the PSR500 as a better option?

That was one of the great upgrades from the 96. One reason I wish there was a 500/600 in my shack
