Pro96/Icom Cable

Do any of the Icom USB programming cables work on the Pro 96? I've seen mention that they may work but nothing definitive. I'm cheap and see them on Ebay for a lot less than what RS or GRE get for them.

If anyone is interested, the USB Programming CI-V interface cable for Icom works on the PRO96. I found one for less than $10 shipped.
