Pro96 Question

I am using Win96 to program a friends Pro96 scanner, I have read that the Alpha Tag should appear in line 4 of the display but I only get MOT: and an identifier like 02522, can't figure out what I am doing wrong? I am trying to program the State of Colorado DTRS system and have not had any such problems with my GRE500. Thanks in advance for the help.

In Win 96 you enter your Alpha tag in the left column and the TG number in the right column (lower right section).

Also make sure you have the correct talkgroup ID entered and "close" the bank to keep unidentifed TGs from showing up (if you want).

Text/Code

Sounds like you need to toggle from "Code" to "Text" with the "Text" key. Page 95 in manual.
