Pro96 Yellow battery Holder

I picked up a used Pro96 and it did not come with the yellow rechargable battery holder my question is can I still use the black regular battery holder with rechargeable battiers and will it work the same or cause problems with the unit. Thanks Andy

It will work fine. It just won't charge the batteries.

Yellow / Black holder

No problem. This will work just fine. The only thing is you cannot charge the batteries in your scanner with the black holder. It will not cause damage to your scanner.

You should be able to order a new yellow holder from Radio Shack.
