i have a pro 97 I'm just trying to use my stalker mode just wondering when I'm that mode should the squelch work. thanks

Yes it works in signal stalker, I see it has rather limited functionality though.
It will stop on some interference while fully open, but doesn't have a full effect, as in conventional
or search modes.

Some computers put out enough hash to desense my Pro-97 so it appears the squelch does not work.

Once I get out in the wide open spaces, Signal Stalker works, complete with squelch.

I actually have three of them and love them all.

The ability to pick up analog trunking is a bonus for me. I would have them for just the conventional capabilities.
