Problem using win500's web import feature

I'm brand new to Radio Reference. I'm using an older version of Win500 (v01.82) but it does have the Web Import feature. Tabbing down and opening the page is shows the following URL: http://www.radioreference.com/apps/xml1.1 and below that I imput my username and password. Upon hitting the START button I get the following reply: The HTTP (web) request returned error 404 ('Not Found').

The current version is 2.07.

There have been several changes in the data format that this website (Radio Reference) uses for database download access to software. I don't recall exactly the timeline. However, your older version of Win500 may be trying to use the "old" data service.

Go to the Win500 website Win500: WS1040, WS1065, PSR-500, PSR-600, PRO-651, PRO-652, PRO-106, PRO-197, PSR-310, PSR-410 Scanner Software for Data Management, Monitoring, and Control
Download the newest version (upgrades are free for registered users). Unzip the downloaded file into your existing Win500 folder (replacing the older files) and see if that corrects the issue after you restart the software.

Quick question I also have the old version of win500. How do I upgrade win500? Is there a button on the old version of win500 to upgrade? Or do I have to go to the link and enter my registration number to download the upgrade?

Just download the new file from the website (linked above) and unzip it into your existing Win500 folder. As long as you do that, on the same pc, you should not have to re-enter your registration information. There is no "upgrade" button in the program itself to check for updates. You do not need to enter "registration" in order to download the file.
