Problem with a PSR-500

I've got this PSR-500 that will power up but the display is blank, any suggestions?

Can you give us some more detail. Is this happening when using batteries (what type), with the AC adapter or both?

Is the AC adapter the correct one for the 500. There are also some menu items to set for the type of batteries that you are using.

All the time....

..... with regular batteries, alkaline, rechargeable-known good and adaptor that came with the unit. Maybe this will help. Thanks.

Do you see anything on the display when you first turn it on?

If not, I would suggest carefully opening the case and ensure that the boards are properly seated.

If you are seeing something at startup, the contrast setting may be off...
