I recently started having a problem getting live feeds to work properly with Chrome. I'm trying to get the live feeds to open with winamp player using chrome, but when I select winamp in the drop down box it either attempts to open the live stream with the regular java player or simply redirects me to the radio reference home page.

This problem seems to have started just recently as I didn't have this problem before. I'm assuming that there is some kind of issue since the latest update of the chrome browser maybe?

Chrome is showing version 21.0.1180.60 m which I assume is the latest.

Everything seems to be working properly under IE by the way, but I prefer to use chrome as that is my default browser.

Anyone else having similar issues or have suggestions on how to correct this?

That is the latest version of Chrome.

Try selecting "Web Player" in the box. I use this for most feeds. I sometimes have six or more up at once.

If I want to view alpha tags I use "Java Web Player" which reverts to Winamp. If I select Winamp it reverts to Windows Media Player and does not display the tags.

I've used Chrome for years, on numerous different computers, and never had any problems when used as above.

Not working for me either

Just downloaded chrome yesterday for first time because its supposed to be fast. Failed first test when I couldn't listen to audio feeds. Mine was set for web player, works fine with the java player. Also noticed youtube audio doesn't work either. Probably a flash issue, but go to Adobe for possible updates and says your chrome has built in flash blah blah. Not worth the bother..... back to Firefox found chrome not faster due to having to go to other websites to possibly download drivers etc to get the site you originally wanted, to work :|

This has to do with a recent flash update. I believe Adobe is working on it. One solution that works with flash games is.
Using Chrome, type about : plugins (removing the spaces) into your browser address bar.
Disable this one. Its the first one on my computer
C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\21.0.1180.60\PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll

The Chrome plugin to disable is Shockwave flash version 11.3.31.222, version 11,3,300,268 is fine.

Thanks for the response eriley!

I tried what you suggested, but I still couldn't get it to work properly. However, while I was in there looking at the plug-in's installed I noticed some type of web plug-in for my VLC media player that I have installed and I disabled that and it "seems" to be working properly for the moment.

I never even knew that plug-in menu existed in Chrome! Thanks for the info!
