Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

I have two XTS5K's, I had to use the drop and drag method due to minimal different features. The radio that I dropped and dragged is not picking up all the transmissions like the original radio. Any help for a possible fix would be greatly appreciate.

did you compare the two codeplugs to verify?

By any chance, do either or both of your XTS5K codeplugs have expanded scan lists?

I'm only scanning one zone 10 channels.

Is your XTS configured for NAS on a P25 System? If so, look at the Trunk System programming in the doner (original) radio to see if the parameters are identical in the radio that received the Drag & Drop operation. Pay attention to band plan and coverage type.

☝️
Also, your system keys need to be loaded in both the donor codeplug and the receiving codeplug.

Not much information to go on here. Are both radios on the same FW version? Have you tried manually programming any of the TG's in the second radio to determine if that makes any difference? What is the P25 system? it might be that parameters that seem to work in the doner may not be exactly correct for the second radio if there FW versions are radically different.

It was mentioned early on to check alignment. I would recommend running Tuner to at least verify that the reference oscillator frequency is withing tolerances. Depending upon what frequency band, there may be other alignment points applicable to the receiver that also need to be checked.

After watching the radio more I noticed that the radio is stopping on the talk group just no audio is coming out or it's missing the first second or so of the transmission. Also this radio has worked fine on another P25 system before. I have double check the settings several times from the drop and drag and everything has looked fine.
