Problem with private messages

My Private Message indicater at the top right of the screen says

Private Messages: Unread 65535, Total 7

But when I open my messages, there are only 7 showing...
Any ideas?

Other than 65535 being one of those numbers you often see when dealing with word length hexacimal storage, no. (65535 = 0xFFFF)

Try sending yourself a PM and see if the number changes.

I get my own message -- but the number doesn't change.
