Here is a list of the frequencies i am trying to programm, and was woundering how to program the tone, any and all help is appriciated...
Frequency Tone Usage
460.175 -131.8 Ch 1 - Dispatch
460.300 -131.8 Ch 2 - Secondary
460.325 -131.8 Ch 3 - Alternate Dispatch
460.475 -131.8 Ch 4 - Car-to-Car
453.750 -131.8 Ch 5 - Special Ops
460.250 -131.8 Ch 7 - Detectives
460.025 -131.8 Ch 8 - CLEMARS
453.925 -123.0 Riverside City Shared Usage

PRO-97 programming by hand

So I assume you are programming by hand. And I assume you know how to program the frequency. While in PGM mode, press FUNC MODE. Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to find the desired tone/code. Press ENTER.

Thanks for your replie. I was also woundering when I have a trunked mot.II splinter system programmed into it, what should it read on the screen. I cannot get it to scan the programmed freqs. I have entered. And if it is scanning them, its not giving me the info I entered into it.

Just a little FYI:

When you get to the step where you use the ↑ and ↓ buttons to choose the appropriate tone, you can also enter the tone using the numbers on the keypad. Believe me, after you've been typing in freqs all day, it's MUCH easier to enter the tone with the keypad, than to hit that little ↑ button repeatedly.

Tell us the system you are trying to program. Can you provide a link to the data here at RR?
