I've recently purchased a RTL2832U dongle and have SDR# successfully installed.
I can listen to signals, but it appears there is a 12.5kHz difference that needs to be calibrated for. For example, I have to tune to 407.262.500 when the actual frequency is 407.275.000.
The problem is, when I adjust the frequency correction field in SDR#, the actual signal does not move across the screen far enough in order to line up to the tuned frequency. Even when I enter the maximum value of 1000ppm, there is still a big gap between the tuned and actual frequency.
I have NFM selected, with a bandwidth of 12000, and order is 500.
What am I doing wrong? I feel like maybe I have missed a step, or do I have a faulty dongle?
