problems with BCD536HP

Hi

My 536hp started rebooting just after loading my favorite lists.

I tried a new SD card = no succes.
I tried another power cord = no succes.

I try to reflash the firmware but the scanner does not stay lit long enough
to be detected by windows.

Also the backlight didn't come on when I power up the scanner.

Has someone already had this problem?

Never seen it. Did you try using the cigarette lighter power just as a test?

My 536 did the same thing about a year ago. They fixed it when it went in for the clock battery and display repair. It's been fine ever since. I couldn't figure it out so I let Uniden do it.
