I own a BC296D and a BC796D. Since retiring, I have the desire to keep track of what is going on in the area. Nosy,LOL. I was always able to successfully scan CRPD on the old APCO 25 system. Since the changeover, obviously everything is different. It has been many years since I set up the scanners and I do not remember all the steps required to get them up and running again. I understand there are many encrypted channels that I will not be able to receive. I have entered the listed frequencies, but get no response from either scanner. Are my scanners capable of receiving the new system? Can someone give me a sequence of installation to get mine operational again? Thanks, Dave
