Procomm Spider quality antenna or not?

Anyone know if this antenna is any good or not. How about the coax that comes with it. I wouldn't need 50', maybe around 15'

I found one on ebay, new in box, for 39.99

Don't know about the antenna, but RG-58 is a great attenuator at 800 MHz.

hey boss, i have one of those that i purchased off of ebay...It works o.k..for what I use it for..basically monitoring all my local agencies,, I thought about changing the coax on it but, I havent got around to messing with it yet..for the price, it seems like a descent deal, with the amount of coax that it comes with..

NorwalkRXing, how far (in miles) are you recieving on VHF-High?

roughly 10-15...I don't know if that can be considered descent reception or not..the landscape around here is up and down..I'm also about 2 miles as the crow flies from the shore of the long island sound..HTH
