We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Does anyone know how to set up a Quick Call II alert on a Motorola HT1550 to go off when the NWS sends out an alert? On their website, the alert is a 1000hz tone. I've already have a weather channel set up so it only activates (opens up) when an alert is recieved. And I've set up a QCII for a "long A" @ 1000 hz...but, its not working. I'm not quite sure how to set up this particular QCII... has anyone done this or know how to?? Thanks!
