ive been thru every thread possible and reread instuctions numerous times. i have tried both WIN500 and ARC500 downloading what i want thru radioreference. i have no problem with conventional freqs however i cannot get p25 phase one to receive on my scanner. everything is uploaded into my scanner. im less than 8 miles from the tower. im in nebraska and am trying to get state patrol. what am i doing wrong? thanks

Basic thing to try - what do you hear when you program the system's frequencies as conventional?

didnt think i could do that since its all automatically done with software......however finally talked to whistler support....they are stumped....gonna mail it back and let techs look at it.

Software is only going to get you so far. You'll need to learn/understand a bit more about the radio and programming.

Let's try some things first before you send it back....

Are you able to receive anything using the radio?

Either manually or through the WIN500 software,program in the site frequencies as conventional. See if you can hear anything.
