Programing GRE PSR 800

I know this is a long shot My SDS100 is at Uniden for repairs. I have a GRE 800 I would like to use. GRE EZ Scan no longer updates its library. The county I wish to monitor is now digital and I would like to find a program I can use to update my GRE scanner. My web search turned up nothing. Any suggestions welcome

Download the library files from the Whistler Download website, copy them into the folder on your computer with the old library files.

Wouldn't that only work with an upgraded 800? The OP didn't say whether he had done this or not...

The only stuff out there for an original 800 can be found here...

haven't used this scanner in a copy years. Worked fine on Columbia county which I am attempting to monitor .About I years ago they changed to a digital format using the same frequencies . If i can find I way to change NFM to Nac code on the scanner it should work But I haven't been able to do so

@ka3jjz This work around for the library works on NON upgrade PSR800 also, if it was updated he would be able to update the library through the WS1080 EZ Scan, but the PSR800 version is no longer supported. This is why Whistler started posting the library on the downloads page.

@Gasman315 you should be able to make the change from NFM to NAC in the PSR800 EZ Scan.
