Can Anyone Tell Me If This Radio And Be Programed By Myself Or Des It Have To Be Done By A Radio Shop? It Is A Uhf P1225 Display Radio With 16 Channels The Model Number Is: P94zpd90c. Thank You For Your Help.

The radio shop will have to reprogram it. The keypad is only for Autopatch things.

You can program it yourself but you'll have to invest some money into it.

You'll need:

1) Radio Service Software from Motorola (800) 422-4210.
2) A Radio Interface Box from Motorola or a 3rd party vendor.
3) A cable or adaptor to interface between the Radio Interface Box and the P1225.

I'm assuming you've already got a computer that's capable of running the software.

The radio shop would already have all of that and would probably charge you for the hourly rate for programming it.
