Having troulble getting motorala 800. Do i need to do fleetmaps first?

You only need fleetmaps for Type I motorola systems.
For type II select a bank, put the bank in MO mode
enter in each frequency and make sure you put each channel you enter into MO mode by pressing the mode key until it appears.

Actually that is incorrect. All you have to do on the Tulsa site is program all 4 control channels which is 860.9375, 859.9375, 858.9375, 857.9375. It's not necessary to program all 28 frequencies. Also I highly advise you to purchase the Win97 software to program the radio. Doing it by hand will be a real pain.
