Hello,

I have recently purchased and programmed a Uniden BCD325P2 scanner using Freescan and the databases from here. I can scan and listen no problem, but I have multiple counties programmed (Central Florida - Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Polk County Fire Departments) and the only way I can figure out how to switch between departments is to use the scroll control and rotate it through all the frequencies until I reach the one I desire. My question is, how can I program the scanner that if I press, for example, the 2 button it pulls up Osceola County, 3 Seminole County, etc.? I see something about quick keys, but I cannot figure out what they do or how they work

Quick keys turn systems and groups on and off.

There are system quick keys and group quick keys.

This explains it further.

@tvengr has posted an easy guide here:

Good luck!

So if I am understanding correctly, quick keys are used to choose (in my case) what counties I want to listen to while scanning? If I want to hold on the dispatch frequency of another county, the best method is to press FUNC and then the scroll control to toggle between counties?
