programing scanner?

The radios we use at our department are xts5000 h18kec9pw5an
which are vhf portables my question is how do these radios work and how do I set up my pro-96 is there a data channel etc.??? any help would be apreaciated


I am overseas in wiesbaden Germany and there is no record of our system in the database

Are you with the U.S. military stationed there? I would suspect so based on the fact you have the XTS5000. I would suspect they are utilizing encryption, though I don't know that for certain. If so, you're not gonna be able to receive the audio.

yes im with the army stationed there I doubt they encrypted this system its just for the pmo not much traffic that needs to be encypted we have other radios for that.
