programing trunked frequencies in my uniden BCT15

I am a novice radio user, however I have done my research and now have a handle on trunking systems. The only problem im having is gathering the correct information i need and placing them in the correct fields in my scanner. Can anyone assist me with understanding data that needs to entered into my scanner? how can I identify what type of trunked system is being used (so that I can choose the correct system to program)

The type of system is noted in the database, but there are some instructions/explanations for the new Uniden models that may help (and substantially apply to the BCT15, too).

Also think about using software. It will download the systems from this database and load into your scanner setting up everything correctly. Try freescan ScanNow.org - The Home of FreeSCAN!
