I am new to scanning, just got my first scanner, the uniden bc250d, I can figure out how to program conventional frequencies into the scanner but the area of Texas I live in has a trunked system. All I want to do is listen to one agency , Round Rock Police Department. If someone could help me figure out how to scan the trunked frequencies with a step by step that would be great!

Williamson County, Round Rock, Texas
There are 2 talk groups, PD North and PD south

The manual for the 785D/250D is very confusing and difficult to understand, ecpecially for someone trying to program a trunk system into an advanced/trunk tracking scanner or one with a menu, for the first time. I went from a BC210XLT to the 785D and was at my wits end trying to figure out how to program a Motorola Type 2 UHF system. I wound up calling Uniden Customer Service and, the great people that they are, they got me up and running. I've seen many complaints about the manual for thses scanners.
