Programming a Motorola Astro For Apco-25

Hello all this is my first post so please be gentle with me if it is in the wrong topic

I have a Motorola Astro Saber Digital APCO.

where do i put the freq and Nac. I know i put the freq under personality, but where do i put the Nac tone 466.
or do i need to convert the Nac tone.
I am using CPS 5.02
oh im also using some analog freq in the radio as well.

if this information alredy exists please send me the link.

For NAC codes in a conventional personality click on the "Astro" tab and you will see "Network ID" and a TX and RX box for the NAC code entries.

there is also a choice for digital carrier squelch if you don't know the NAC or don't want to program it

Convert it to what? NAC codes work like DCS codes. Just put the number in the associated field.

By convert I think he meant something along the lines of Hex or decimal entry in CPS for his NAC.

The usual entry for the NAC code is given in hex format and I'd bet your 466 is also HEX so just enter in 466.

If you know 466 to be correct but it still doesn't work, and since we don't know the origin of who gave you 466, by this I mean we don't truly know if it was given to you in decimal or HEX format, therefore I'd try 1D2 and see if this works

Or like others have said simply set, under the conventional personality ASTRO menu the RX UNMUTE rule: to Digital CSQ.

hi i have the uniden UBCD996T scanner and i am just a bit confused on where in the manual to select band plan for P25 system it says enter the band plan table you want and then enter the base frequency for the table entry in khz is i have put all the frequencys in and do not understand what this means can some one help me on this subject please i just put in the input frequency witch is the first frequency i down loaded from here now it is asking for the input spacing i do not know what that means
